REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR THE PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES [NATIONAL CIVIL SOCIETY CONSULTATION]

NRC – Jordan is looking to hire a consultant (Individual consultants only) For the provision of national civil society consultation. The Consultant will To support the thematic national civil report based on data collected by JIF.” The consultant will conduct an in-depth analysis of all the minutes of the meeting from the different consultations that will happen across the country, to identify the proposed priorities and focus related to these proposals at the national, subnational, and local governmental levels. To show the importance of these axes and the opportunities and challenges surrounding them, the consultant must develop a synthesis report, balancing the different concerns while ensuring all feedback is expressed in the final document.

The Jordan INGO Forum (JIF) is a network of 61 international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) implementing development and humanitarian programs to respond to the needs of vulnerable Jordanians, Syrian, Palestinian and Iraqi refugees. JIF members work closely with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and line ministries, as well as with other actors such as the UN, national NGOs and donors, to plan, coordinate and monitor activities.

The JIF exists primarily to serve the needs of its members to enable them to help people in need and improve the lives of vulnerable populations in Jordan. The JIF does this through:

• Information Sharing / Communication: To ensure that there is effective and transparent sharing of information relevant to both JIF members and external stakeholders;

• Coordination: To coordinate INGO exchange, learning and resource-sharing through meetings, Working Groups and through relationships with external stakeholders;

• Policy / Advocacy: To represent the interests of JIF members in external meetings, policy discussions, advocacy meetings and documents, as well as to lobby on issues of common interest as indicated by its members and specifically related to protection of the humanitarian and operational space;

• Representation: To consistently represent the interests of JIF members with donors, UN agencies, the Government of Jordan and other external stakeholders

NRC is looking to hire a consultant (Individual consultants only) to work with the Jordan INGO Forum (JIF) for the provision of national civil society consultation as detailed in the Term of References following the link below.
