Finance Intern

The Finance Intern will support the accounting needs of the Organisation, ensuring that there are no financial breaches.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Be resident in Abuja
  • Have a functional laptop and smartphone
  • Possess a degree in Accounting, Economics or Banking & Finance
  • Be willing to learn on the job and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • Be willing to accept a NGN25,000 stipend
  • Be willing to remain with the Organisation for the 6month duration of the internship and open to considering the offer of a permanent role, if one is made.
  • Prior experience in a relevant role will be an added advantage

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Support the accurate bookkeeping of assigned accounts
  • Support adherence to accounting best practices
  • Support the disbursement and efficient use of cash within the purview of the Intern
  • Maintain existing financial protocols within the Organisation
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation within the purview of the Intern
  • Receive direction from the Finance Assistant in the delivery of tasks and provide support as required
