Consultancy: E-Learning Content Revision and Development – Guidance Workshops At Mosaik Education

Mosaik Education is looking to hire a consultant or team of consultants to review and develop training content directed at young refugees who wish to access tertiary education. This consultancy is part of Mosaik’s Guidance Programme; a programme that runs in Jordan, Turkey, and Lebanon supporting young refugees in accessing guidance around tertiary education through building skills and providing needed support. Enabling young people to successfully pursue tertiary education opportunities both in their host country and internationally. The training is offered both online and in person.

Mosaik Education supports refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey to access higher education through academic guidance and language skills programmes.

About the consultancy

The consultancy will support efforts to update content; validate existing content, and add new content and contextual information to modules. Anticipated modules that need creation include modules on tertiary education pathways, researching and securing funding opportunities, CV and personal statements, and completing enrollment applications. The review of modules would focus on pedagogy and tools facilitating access to tertiary education.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates experienced in training and content development who are task-driven and detail-oriented. The consultants will work closely with the Mosaik team, who will provide support and guidance throughout the assignment.

Deliverables

• Needs analysis on refugee needs around access to tertiary education
• Workshop with Mosaik team to validate revised content outline
• Session plans of all modules; including guidance to facilitators on engaging online and offline delivery
• ToT package targeting local community-based organization on engaging learners with content online and offline. To be delivered remotely.
• Revised e-learning content, syllabus, and worksheets.

We are looking for a consultant or a team of consultants, who have the following skills and experience:

• Experience in developing content for education programming. Youth-focused experience is a plus.
• Experience in online learning design and pedagogy.
• Proven skills and experience in e-learning authoring software to create high-quality e-learning content
• Experience in using and designing content for learning management systems, including Moodle.
• Experience in programmes or content focused on access to tertiary education. Experience in a refugee specific context is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in similar deliverables specific to toolkits and curricula.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering projects to a tight timeframe.
• Clear and effective communication – written and oral.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
