  • Salary Range: ₦30,000 – ₦50,000/month

The Partnership and Communications Assistant will work closely with the CEO and be responsible for identifying and attracting relevant partnerships that promote the organisation’s goals and objectives as well as seeking fundraising opportunities. This role will also require the candidate to develop social media and communication strategies and content to ‘market’ the organisation and its activities.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Be resident in Abuja
  • Have a functional laptop and smartphone
  • Have one year’s experience in the nonprofit sector, preferably in social media content creation
  • Be willing to learn on the job and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Possess public speaking and creative abilities
  • Have a strength in interpersonal communication and brokering collaborations
  • Have strong writing skills
  • Be willing to remain with the organization for a minimum of 1 year
  • Be willing to accept a NGN35,000 initial salary for 3 months and NGN50,000 after a successful probationary period

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sourcing for grants related to the Organisation’s work
  • Brokering and maintaining partnerships with relevant individuals and corporate entities to increase the reach, access to resources and funding of the Organisation
  • Develop costeffective and efficient fundraising activities and strategies
  • Develop strategies for reaching and onboarding prospective donors and partners
  • Develop communication frameworks, campaign strategies, content calendars and digital assets for the Organisation’s work and fundraising efforts
  • Manage and recruit more members for the Organisation’s donor community, called JDI Team 100
  • Attend conferences and highprofile meetings/workshops on the Organisation’s behalf
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Other support roles as assigned by the CEO
